In Reading, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Pennsylvania, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. I first saw a woman behind the counter who was not in a uniform at all. She was cordial. I ordered the oatmeal and a water. 8$ Pretty crazy when i received my meal and there were brown bananas. I then used the restroom, where there was a tampon on the ground behind the toilet and it was very unclean. Then to find a seat, I chose near the fireplace but couldn't sit down because the leather seats were so rough and beat up. Many of the cushion seats were like this. Tables not wiped and floors were not vacuumed. Windows are extremely dirty. Wont be coming here again.

It’s not even 4pm. Tables are dirty. Bathrooms are dirty - shoes stick to the floor dirty. Zero service available. Not a smile or hello from the unfriendly staff.

I went in when there were not many people, but my order took forever to come out, and when it did, it was HORRIBLE. I got a simple bacon, egg, and cheese croissant... cheese and egg were dry, and there was hardly any bacon, a couple sprinkled bacon pieces was it, not even a whole piece. Will visit again, please save yourself money and disappointment.

I visited this Panera on 4/10/26 after visiting the book store and Petco. I went inside to get food. I first used the restroom which was very clean, had a full soap container and plenty of paper towels. I proceeded to order my food and was satisfied with the service. I ordered a chicken and avocado BLT with no bacon. I sat down at the bench and waited about five minutes to get my sandwich. Once I got my food, I asked for napkins, but the lady said she already put napkins in the bag. Sweet! I got my food, left and ate in the car. The sandwich was ok. It didn't seem to have as much chicken and avocado on it as I had gotten from other Panera's but I was still satisfied. I would eat there again.

Food is great. The new menu has some options with good taste. As usual they have a very nice bread types which make their sandwiches taste unique. Service was so good. Easy to order through online app or in store kiosks or order in person. Lot of options like dine in, take away etc. Dine in can also be placed through app as well. Once the order is ready, they keep the dish ready and we can go and take with our comfort. Rapid pickup also available. Tables were free and lot of tables available to sit and enjoy the food. Outdoor seating also available. Their Soups and sides are also unique and must try menu items. Side can be chosen with 4 options such as Apple/Chips/Bread etc. Chips were so good and bread is also tasted good which is perfect for soup. For soup, they are giving reusable steel spoons which is sustainable and in mobile app orders also it suggests to bring our own utensils to avoid the wastage and make environment friendly which so nice of them. Restrooms are available separately for Men and women and they are inside at the end of the restaurant.
